Well, now I have purchased a bike rack that can hold 2 bikes, even though we are restricted to 5km or our own LGA currently due to a NSW public health order. As it turns out, The Hills LGA is one of the larger areas to be restricted within. However the bike paths start to run thin, the further north you travel. Looking into these resources here and actually here we found a local LGA route, that could give my fresh new bike rack, it’s first outing.

Some great paths and nice cool tracks, with great smelling eucaliptus canopies.

I’ll add the actual route details soon, but it was a loop starting at Alfred Henry Whaling Memorial Reserve, down along Toongabbie Creek, along some of Seven Hills Road, then looping back via the rather expansive Crestwood Reserve, then a quick pass via Coolock Cresent Reserve. Next time I’ll certianly pack a picnic for Crestwood Reserve, it has so many areas to it!
