Multi Cloud Training Tips

I’ve been on a path to gain the AWS Security Speciality Certification for some months now, it’s always been next on my agenda, however some other items have jumped in with a time sensitive timeframe, such as

So, now (as I type) I’m taking an exam prep session with an British trainer, quite late on a Friday evening in Sydney. Plenty of times and dates are available, details:

AWS Certified Security - Specialty

In this advanced-level virtual event, prepare for the AWS Certified Security - Specialty exam by exploring its topic areas and how they map to security on AWS. This exam validates technical skills and experience in securing and hardening workloads and architectures in the AWS Cloud.

I have previously completed the PluralSight course - AWS Certified Security – Specialty (SCS-C01). This covers a lot, however it’s been a few months since then.

Currently, I’ve found the AWS Digital Training to be pretty targeted and recently revamped.

Next steps

Next I’m planning to take AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, then AWS Certified Developer - Associate, finally to round these off with AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional. Hopefully just before my AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional needs to be recertified, yes, it’s been nearly 3 years!

To this end, I’ve purchased the often recommended online course, Adrian Cantrill he also has some free labs available on github.

I’ve also purchased Tutorials Dojo - practice exam.
